NCD Serra Club Monthly Activities

First Friday
We gather together every first Friday for 6:30 a.m. Mass at St. Mark's Church in Plano, followed by a fellowship breakfast. We have a short meeting during breakfast and are finished by 8:00 a.m.

Monday Dinner Meeting
We gather together every third Monday at 6:30 p.m. for dinner and fellowship. At this meeting we have an interesting speaker.

Seminary Sunday
We attend Mass at Holy Trinity Seminary in Dallas and bring refreshments for fellowship afterward with the Seminarians. This is our chance to encourage them in their path to priesthood!

NCD Serra Club Annual Activities

Vocation Awareness Program
We sponsor a weekend program at Holy Trinity Seminary for anyone interested in the religious life. Each member participates in announcing the program at Masses during April and May.

Priesthood Sunday
In October we sponsor recognition of clergy in many parishes around the Diocese. Each member is responsible for contacting a parish about this event.

Religious Women's Day
We sponsor entertainment and dinner and enjoy it with the religious sisters.

Special Events
From time to time, we are called upon to help with events such as The Living Rosary held at the Cotton Bowl.
